What the day will look like
The Pursuit Team (Bid Management) is part of Aon’s Growth Strategies team and performs a key role in new and retention opportunities. The team is made up of highly skilled, motivated and knowledgeable colleagues who use their knowledge of Aon, our clients and industries to propose a compelling value proposition. Based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, the Australia team is part of the wider Asia Pacific team and works closely with the wider global Pursuit community.
This Bid & Content Executive role is instrumental to Aon’s growth agenda and the commercial success of Aon in the region. You will be responsible for assisting the Bid and Pitch process end-to-end.

Bid Coordination: Assist in the coordination and preparation of bid submissions under the guidance of bid managers, ensuring all deadlines are met and documentation is complete.

Proposal Development: Support the development of proposals by gathering necessary information from the content repository, various departments and contributing to the creation of comprehensive and compelling bid documents.

Document Management: Maintain and organise bid documentation, including templates, past proposals, and client information, ensuring easy access for the team.

Compliance: Review bid submissions to ensure compliance with the client’s requirements, with oversight from bid managers.

Client Interaction: Assist in communicating with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and gather additional information as needed.

Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the bid management team, including scheduling meetings and coordinating tasks.

Collaboration with Bid Managers: Work closely with bid managers to support the development and submission of bids, ensuring all aspects of the bid process are effectively managed.

Content Strategy: Develop, implement and maintain content to improve the quality and impact of bid submissions.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Bid Management Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the insurance, financial services or consulting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Powerpoint: Advanced skills in creating, formatting and editing documents and presentations, including the use of templates, styles and design elements to produce professional and visually appealing bid materials.

Compliance and Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure bid documents are error-free and compliant.

Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness in all bid-related documents and submissions.

Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently. Ability to maintain and organize extensive documentation and ensure easy access for the team.

Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a team, providing support to bid managers and other team members as needed.

Time Management: Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
