Boilermaker

About the role

Ventia have a contract supporting the maintenance of the Millmerran Power Station and Skout Solutions are seeking 1 Boilermaker to assist for a minimum of 2 Months in the Maintenance team.

Whats in it for you:

• 5-day (10.5 hours per day) Monday to friday work week in a great team environment.
• $49.38 per hour Mon-Thurs. 5th day worked in the week pays first 2 hours at $91.28 and $98.68 for all hours thereafter.
• Weekly allowance paid of $112 per week
• Opportunity to work on a power station, experience in the resources industry not essential
• Possibility of more shutdown or longer term work within the business

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Maintain plant effectively to the set standards;
• Work with Trades Assistants and other tradesmen to achieve plant performance;
• Complete minor plant isolation and operation;
• Complete routine plant maintenance

You will need

• Trade Qualification (Boilermaker)
• A commitment to OH&S practices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A Coal Fit respirator test that we will organize and pay for in Toowoomba, prior to first day
• Current drivers licence and white card
