Client Manager - Sydney

We are seeking a Client Manager to join our Sydney Metro National Team, which specialises in the delivery of best-in-class risk management solutions for top-tier mid-market clients. We have an extensive presence across Australia, with representation in each State capital and an extensive regional branch network. 

The Client Manager is responsible for proving best in class service for a key portfolio of diverse National clients and will work closely with their team members to implement strategies which focus on growth and retention of the team portfolio. This role is considered a key driver to our long-term growth ambitions in this segment and will work closely with leadership to drive positive results in the region and provide you the guidance and tools required to succession of a leadership capacity.

What the day will look like:

  • Lead a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries including health, care, property and general
  • Play an important role in providing technical advice, mentoring and development of colleagues in the team
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships and enhance the client experience
  • Identify development opportunities for designated portfolio and design appropriate servicing solutions
  • Develop new and profitable business within the National segment
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the National business
  • Achieve renewal and new business budget


Skills and experience that will lead to success:

This position will suit a someone with the following experience:

  • Exceptional client relationship management capabilities
  • Experience and/or interest in insurance and risk management for clients in the Health Industry/Aged and Community Care, Property Owners and or Hospitality industries is considered an advantage
  • First-class communication and presentation skills with included confidence to present to senior stakeholders
  • A keen entrepreneurial spirit, with demonstrated new business successes
  • Strong technical understanding of a broad range of Commercial Insurance products
  • Leadership and management aspirations and demonstrated flair for mentoring or coaching others
  • Tier 1 Qualification
  • Organisational skills to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
