CSIRO’s Fire Systems Laboratory conducts Standards-based testing on a wide variety of fire detection, fire suppression, and emergency warning system products. Our team conducts testing on behalf of Australian and international companies to methods specified in the relevant standards and under timelines established through commercial agreements within an ISO 17025-accredited quality system.
As the Fire Systems Testing Officer, you will conduct laboratory testing of detection and control systems. You will also assist with the implementation of a commercial Laboratory Information Management system (LIMS) to improve the operation of the laboratory conducting the evaluations.
Please note, this role may involve domestic and international travel, as required.
Location: Clayton, VIC
Salary: AU$96,811 - AU$109,527 plus 15.4% superannuation
Tenure: Specified term of 3 years, Full-time
