Your Role: The Associate Director Executive Compensation will support the Head of Executive Compensation, Performance Management, and Equity in providing strategic and operational leadership in the design, development, implementation, administration, and communication of executive compensation programs across the CSL Group. Your Responsibilities: Involve influencing and supporting the design, development, and implementation of executive compensation programs, including the Executive Short Term Incentive and CSL Group Short Term Incentive Plans. As the Associate Director you will review and evaluate all elements of executive compensation, ensuring integration and alignment of executive pay with overall company goals and objectives.
You will act as a point of contact and at times lead various work teams to develop, contemporize, and enhance programs, procedures, policies, processes, workflows, and automation related to executive compensation. Additionally, the role includes benchmarking executive-level roles, providing market data and pay recommendations to support executive offers for new hires and promotions, leading the job evaluation process for the Senior Vice President population, and overseeing the senior executive year-end compensation process.
As the Associate Director you will provide consultation on executive compensation matters to senior executives, including the Global Leadership Group and HR Business Partners. You will lead agenda preparation and meeting schedules for the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee (HRRC), prepare papers and analytics for Board and HRRC meetings, and ensure the accuracy of information in papers and presentations. The role also involves leading the preparation and delivery of the Remuneration Report, serving as the point of contact for all quarter-end and year-end reporting, and supporting M&A activities including due diligence, executive compensation assessment, and integration support.
In addition you will own and deliver the market data benchmarking process, serve as the escalation point for all executive compensation issues, and develop strategies and interventions to address them. They will create, maintain, and update procedure documents for global practices, lead initiatives for introducing and maintaining best practices, and utilize data and key performance metrics to identify trends and recommend proactive solutions for employee retention and engagement related to executive compensation. The role also involves developing recommendations for systems and process improvements, including increased automation of selected compensation and administrative functions, and designing executive compensation communications.
Your Experience: You should have a minimum of ten years’ experience in a medium/large organization in a compensation role, including executive compensation experience. You should have knowledge of reporting tools and HR processes, strong knowledge of HR administration/analytical software, and knowledge of Workday is a plus.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills at all levels with the ability to interpret and summarize data, and the ability to influence outcomes and educate global groups and functions are essential. You must ne have an exceptional attention to detail, advanced numerical, data (MS Excel), and analytical skills, and a strong focus on execution excellence.
You should also have clear and articulate oral and written communication skills, strong analytical and decision-making abilities, excellent project management and organizational skills, the ability to work independently in a rapidly changing environment, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams on a global scale.
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or another appropriate discipline is required
