We currently have an exciting position in the Northern Beaches region for a passionate individual who is dedicated to supporting our clients through compassionate care and empowerment.

Your duties will include:

  • Supporting clients to develop and maintain independence, and advocate for the clients and their individual needs.
  • Delivering personalised support by assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administrating medication, manual handling using a variety equipment and aids.
  • Transporting clients in our wheelchair accessible vans and pool cars.
  • Monitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progress.
  • Being part of a fun and dynamic team.


Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating roster; you will be required to work across morning, afternoon and occasional active night shifts, split shifts including weekend and public holiday shifts.
  • Experience supporting customers with intellectual disability, high physical support needs and medical / health needs.
  • A current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum).
  • Local to Northern Beaches.
  • Highly perceptive and initiative person.
  • Knowledge of Auslan.
