ITS Technician

About the role
As a Maintenance Electrician on our Sydney Roads and Asset Performance contract, you will maintain, fault find, and upgrade Traffic Signal, ITS, and Streetlighting equipment/systems.
- 1 x permanent full-time position working 6am to 2pm. There is a requirement of night shift once per month, to be on call after hours one day per week and provide coverage over the weekend once a month.
The successful applicant will be Sydney based working across the following areas - Campbeltown, Liverpool, Fairfield and surrounds, as well as Penrith through to the Blue Mountains.

What you’ll be doing:
- Maintain traffic signals and ITS equipment
- Comply with statutory requirements and the contract or project management systems
- Implement and comply with the site OH&S requirements as per Ventia policy
- Participate in the “on-call” and relief service obligation
- Participate in training to improve capabilities required for the contract or project
- Coordinate emergency response procedures
- Participate in the review of operational and maintenance procedures
- Support the Asset Manager and ITS Asset Engineer for the delivery of Asset Management Planning Services across the project
- Other tasks as defined by the ITS Supervisor
About you
- Relevant trade experience and electrical licence is a must have
- Experience in ITS and/or traffic signals is a must
- Valid driver’s license is a must
- White card is a must
- Ability to provide outside of hours assistance whenever required
