Are you a skilled Mechanical Fitter ready for your next challenge?
Ventia is calling on talented Mechanical Fitters to join our team for an exciting shutdown project at BlueScope's No. 5 BLAST FURNACE in Wollongong. This is your chance to gain valuable experience, work with a fantastic team, and open doors to future opportunities, both casual and permanent.
Shutdown Dates: 4th & 6th March 2025
What We Offer:
Competitive Pay: $45.37 per hour + overtime
Flexible Shifts: 12-hour day and night shifts
Travel Allowance: For eligible candidates
Inclusive Culture: Work in a collaborative and supportive environment
Future Opportunities: Potential for ongoing roles
What You Need:
Qualifications: Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade
Desirable Tickets: Working at Heights and Confined Space
Experience: Recent work as a Mechanical Fitter, ideally in a shutdown setting
Safety Commitment: Strong adherence to safe work practices
Readiness: Willingness to complete online inductions
By joining our shutdown crew, you'll be first in line for future projects across Australia and permanent roles in Wollongong. We have ongoing positions for Boilermakers, Mechanical Fitters, and Riggers.
