Join Ventia’s dynamic team at BlueScope in Wollongong for our upcoming shutdown at No. 5 BLAST FURNACE! This is your chance to gain invaluable experience, work with an amazing team, and unlock future casual or permanent opportunities. Plus, you could be part of the No. 6 Blast Furnace Alignment!
Shutdown Dates: 4th - 6th March 2025
What We Offer:
- Attractive Pay: $49.90 per hour + overtime
- Flexible Shifts: 12-hour day and night shifts
- Travel Allowance: For eligible candidates
- Inclusive Culture: Work in a collaborative and supportive environment
- Future Opportunities: Potential for ongoing roles
What You Need:
- Qualifications: Cert III in Engineering – Boilermaker Trade
- Desirable Tickets: Working at Heights and Confined Space
- Experience: Recent work as a Boilermaker, ideally in a shutdown setting
- Safety Commitment: Strong adherence to safe work practices
- Readiness: Willingness to complete online inductions
By joining our shutdown crew, you'll be first in line for future projects across Australia and permanent roles in Wollongong. We have ongoing positions for Boilermakers, Mechanical Fitters, and Riggers.
