We are looking for multiple, enthusiastic hardworking people to join our growing Ancillary Claims Team. You will be responsible for timely and accurate payment of our members ancillary claims. This is a high volume role where you will be required to assess member receipts and claims to ensure appropriate benefits are paid. Whilst the role is mostly autonomous you will be surrounded by an approachable supportive team. Full training provided.

What will you do? / How will you help?
Our Ancillary Claims Assessors look after out-of-hospital claims from services like dental, optical and physio (among many other things!)

Some of your key responsibilities will include;

  • Maintain a high standard of claims assessment through accurate, efficient and timely processing of Ancillary claims.
  • Contribute to the effective operations of the assessing team
  • Actively participate as a member of the assessing team
  • Effective use of own work time and work resources
  • Payment of claims within THF contract requirements and benefit payment limits
  • Prepare claim assessments 
  • Correspond with members via e-mail, telephone or hard copy mail  

What do you need? /What are we looking for?

  • Minimum 1 year high volume data entry experience
  • Experience assessing claims (desirable)
  • Knowledge of the Private health Insurance industry (desirable) 
  • High level of attention to detail 
  • A positive can do attitude is A MUST!
