Marketing Operations Manager

In this role, you’ll set up and lead marketing operations that enable the marketing team to be strategic, deliver value, optimise spend, increase productivity and improve processes and ways of working.

Teachers Health was created by teachers for teachers over 65 years ago and is the only health fund exclusively for the education community. As a not-for-profit health fund, we exist for our members covering the lives of over 400,000 teachers, education staff & their families.
  
What will you do? / How will you help?

  • Set up and embed frameworks for regular strategic planning, prioritisation, budget management and meeting cadences.
  • Guide and manage the BMC team in implementing departmental goals and plans, ensuring alignment with broader business strategy.
  • Facilitate regular planning and prioritisation of activities across cross-functional stakeholders such as digital, sales and product.
  • Facilitate and guide the BMC team by streamlining marketing processes to enhance speed to market and drive adoption of new marketing processes and platforms.
  • Maintain oversight of JIRA workflows across the business unit optimising efficiency, and monitoring team performance.
  • Foster continuous improvement and stakeholder collaboration, addressing key issues and managing change.
  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of accountability and transparency.
  • Be a structured team member who is detail orientated in setting up best practice frameworks, templates, document management and processes, striving on aligning team on priorities and making them more efficient.


What do you need? /What are we looking for?

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Communications/ Marketing/Business) Or equivalent work experience in marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience in a busy multi-brand marketing environment with activity across ATL and BTL channels.
  • 6+ years’ marketing experience with at least 1-year leading marketing operations and 2-3 years adoption of Agile practices.
  • Excellence in business reporting, budget administration, orchestrating cross-functional planning, computer literacy and process optimisation
  • Marketing Technology literacy: Jira or other project management, workflow, sign off and budget management system experience
