About the Role
  
We are looking for an experienced Optical Dispenser to join our Surry Hills team on a full-time basis. Our ideal team member will have a combination of technical ability, great communication skills and outstanding customer service. Our Centre is open Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm and Saturdays 8.30am-2pm.

You'll Provide high quality optical needs for customers in a timely manner and excellent customer care. You'll be responsible and accountable for all store operations.

What would you do as our Optical Dispenser?

  • Increase customer awareness of all Teachers Health Centre (THC) and Health Funds products and services.
  • Ensure a positive level of customer experience, and the efficient processing of customer enquiries and needs.
  • Contribute to the retention and growth of THF’s customer base to maintain profitability.
  • Provide customers with superior advice on optical products and efficient processing of their orders.
  • Ensure that the store is compliant with THF’s policy and procedures and relevant legislation.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with other Eyecare centres.
  • Ensure efficient processing of customer orders.

What are we looking for?

  • Previous work experience as an Optical Dispenser  
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills 
  • High attention to detail  
  • The ability to work well in a fast-paced work environment 
  • A team player who is passionate about providing the best service to our members  
  • Experience using SUNIX is a bonus 
  • CERT IV in Optical Dispensing is beneficial
