About the role:
We currently have a permanent opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our Payroll team.  In this customer focussed role, you will provide accurate, timely and efficient payroll services to Unitywater employees.  Your accountabilities will include however not limited to:
  

  • End to end processing ensuring compliance of all policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
  • Maintaining personnel file records, correspondence and accurate records of all payroll related activities in a confidential manner.
  • Proficient preparation of fortnightly payroll reports.

  • Demonstrated extensive payroll experience, together with high level of numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret awards, agreements, knowledge and an understanding of legislative requirements relevant to industrial instruments, superannuation and taxation.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast paced and multifaceted environment.
  • Previous experience in Technology One is desirable but not essential.
