About the role:
Working within the Communication Team, and very closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will utilise your expertise in communication strategy, change and stakeholder communication, copywriting for a range of internal and external channels, awards submissions, and the production of strategic collateral, to deliver timely, integrated, and relevant internal and external communication aligned with Unitywater's strategic direction.
                                                                                             
As the role is focussed on supporting Unitywater’s capital delivery approach, experience in a communication or stakeholder engagement environment within large multidisciplinary engineering or civil construction projects will be very highly regarded.

Please note as this role is project based and supporting large capital projects, we are initially offering an 18 month contract with potential for further extension.

  • Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders and specialists, identifying key risks and opportunities, mitigation tactics and developing and implementing communication plans that contribute to Unitywater’s identity, culture and behaviours and adoption of new processes and ways of working.
  • Providing advice on complex projects which includes influencing key stakeholders through expert knowledge of communication approaches in line with Unitywater’s Strategic Ambition and capital delivery goals.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting effective communication in a complex matrix organisation across channels and audience types that reach a geographically disperse workforce, including office and field-based split and industry partners.
  • Produce high-quality, engaging content for various digital and traditional communication platforms, intranet, internet, video, presentations, conferences and awards, and traditional and social media and support key internal and external events.
  • Building relationships to establish positive working partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring brand integrity across all communications, tools and publications for the organisation.
