Customer Service - Help Desk Operator - Fixed Term 6 Months


We are looking for a Customer Service Representative / Helpdesk Operator within the Ventia Operations Centre (VOC). We are seeking vibrant and highly engaged individuals who are inspired by customer excellence and quality outcomes.


The Helpdesk Operator role is located at our office in Cremorne, VIC.

We work closely with a diverse range of customers who are active participants within the emergency services.  We provide a transcription service as well as deployment of devices to our customers.


The Role:

  • Helpdesk Operator - Monday to Friday 38 hours per week – 6-month Fixed Term – Cremorne, VIC

  • Respond to inbound/outbound calls
  • Process work via phone and emails
  • Providing a positive customer experience
  • Matching customer needs to solutions
  • Manage the customer experience through dispatching work orders
  • Case management of service outcomes/managing urgent or high priority work order needing fast resolution
  • Maintain and update various databases, spreadsheets, and documents


What you bring to the role;

  • Previous experience in one of the above-mentioned roles with a strong passion for delivering quality customer service
  • Proven ability working within a similar environment working with multiple customers
  • Must be tech savvy, have strong computer application skills; MS Office, SAP or similar, please note this is not an IT Helpdesk role
  • Be able to lift 15kgs cartons
  • Resilience when dealing with challenging activities
  • You bring your best to work every day
