Health Coordinator


The Opportunity
Ventia is seeking a Health Coordinator to support the coordination of facilities maintenance within the AGFMA Health Portfolio at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. This role will be the main point of contact, providing assistance to both internal and external Ventia stakeholders as required.

The Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA) for the Government of South Australia provides facilities management services for over 3500 Government-owned sites across 25 Government Agencies. Ventia will partner with local small to medium businesses to help deliver these services to the community of South Australia, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

This is a permanent, full-time position based on-site at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, North Adelaide.

The key responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

  • Client/Subcontractor interface duties include, but are not limited to:
    • Contractor sign-in and distribution of keys/swipe access.
    • End-of-day follow-up with contractors on-site.
    • Issuing parking permits and site work permits. (as needed)
    • Contractor Rapid Global Compliance management.
  • Provide on-site support to the broader AGFMA Health team.
  • Monitor priority 1 and 2 work orders throughout the day, providing updates to the Facility and Assets Managers.  
  • Collect, enter and update data to ensure the accuracy and integrity of AGFMA records and databases.
  • Prepare and deliver reports to the AGFMA Health team.
  • Organise meetings and schedules for the AGFMA Health team.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between operational delivery and support functions within the AGFMA contract.
  • Other reasonable activities as required for the role

Requirement:

  • Proven ability to manage and maintain databases in computerised systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with required formats and timeframes.
  • Administration professional with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer and client service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC) (Required or willing to obtain)
