Lead Water Process Engineer


The Opportunity 
An exciting Lead Water Process Engineer role has become available due to the growth within Ventia’s Engineering Services. If you hold extensive experience in design, project delivery, and design management we would love to explore the opportunity of you becoming part of our dynamic team based in Sydney.

In addition to design and project delivery, you will also assist in positioning and winning projects across the water sector in water, recycled water and wastewater engineering for existing as well as emerging technologies.

Could you be our Lead Water Process Engineer? 

  • A graduate or postgraduate chemical engineering degree.
  • Excellent communication skills, adept at engaging with diverse stakeholders and working collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a passion for mentoring junior engineers and driving engineering project success.
  • CPEng (Chartered through either Engineers Australia or IChemE).
  • A minimum 10 years of technical experience (12+ years preferred) in the water industry with extensive knowledge of safety in design and relevant industry codes and standards relevant to the Australian water industry.
  • A demonstrated ability to plan and manage input to multiple projects in a prioritized and time-effective way. 
  • Strong report writing skills.
  • Strong self-motivation, time management and organisational ability.
  • Current RPEQ registration in Chemical Engineering is highly regarded.
