Training Coordinator


Ventia are looking to hire an experienced Training Coordinator to support the recently awarded Western Harbour Tunnel (WHT and Sydney Harbour Tunnel (SHT) Asset Management Contract.

NSW Western Harbour Tunnel and Sydney Harbour Tunnel Asset Management Services Contract with Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW), provides operations, maintenance and strategic asset management services for the Western Harbour Tunnel and Sydney Harbour Tunnel. The works include whole-of-life asset risk and electricity volume risk, as well as 24/7 tunnel control over 35 years.

Reporting to the ICMS Quality Manager, this role will be responsible for providing accurate, timely and proactive Training and HSE System support to the SHT/WHT AMS Team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Running reports to provide feedback and identify gaps on level of training compliance and records 
  • Facilitating training and toolbox talks
  • Training other employees/Contractors on the use of VisRes as required
  • Assist with resolving technical issues (in collaboration with VisRes Support)
  • Assist with the collation of month end reporting requirements
  • Document controlling and record keeping
  • Various administrative tasks as required

  • Cert IV Training and Assessment
  • Solid computer skills with experience in the use of Microsoft Applications
  • High level of administration and organisational skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with various stakeholders
  • The ability to work autonomously as well as a part of a team
