Job Description

We are seeking an experienced driver to join our growing team and work with us in achieving our goals. You will have the opportunity to travel and develop positive relationships with customers and team members. To be successful in this role, you must hold a current HC/MC License and be an experienced Road Train Operator. Whilst it is desirable to have a Dangerous Goods License, it is not essential as training will and can be provided. The successful candidate will be based in Port Lincoln.

  • Drivers will be required to load, transport and unload bulk petroleum
  • Complete daily prestart and WHS checks on vehicle and equipment
  • Develop positive relationships with team and customers
  • Follow instructions from Depot manager for daily duties, trip sheet and timeframes this includes work diary and fatigue management.
  • Ensure safety and compliance including Dangerous Goods and National Heavy Vehicle Requirements are always adhered to.

Qualifications

  • Road train experience
  • Current HC or MC licence
  • Have outstanding customer service
  • Knowledge of current Work Health and Safety and how to operate a vehicle safely
  • Willing to undertake a Police check and medical prior to employment
