About the role

We are seeking a motivated, influential and knowledgeable Corporate Communications Advisor to join our team until March 2026.

Reporting to the Manager - Corporate Communications, this role will assist in the development and implementation of corporate communications activities and materials.

What you can expect with this role

  • Assist in developing and implementing corporate communications plans for major Water Corporation projects, issues, and initiatives.
  • Help create and review corporate publications, including the Annual Report, to ensure effective external communications.
  • Support the development and coordination of award submissions for both corporate and individual entries to drive strategic participation.
  • Assist in producing conference presentation materials, including proofreading, editing, and ensuring alignment with corporate goals and protecting our brand and reputation.
  • Oversee the Corporate Communications inbox, including assigning tasks to team members within and outside the Corporate Affairs team.
  • Manage oversight of the corporate membership approvals process and support the external stakeholder site visit processes.

Your skills and experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in communications, public relations or another relevant discipline.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to consistently produce clear and compelling information.
  • Able to develop corporate communications material to achieve effective external communications.
  • Highly organised with the proven capacity to take on and deliver multiple and varied projects with competing deadlines.
  • Ability to participate collaboratively and constructively within teams, as well as proactive and self- motivated to work alone.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to engage stakeholders and build effective relationships.
