As a meter reader, you have the freedom of structuring your time around your family and personal commitments.
You’ll be outdoors (in all weather conditions - rain, wind, or sun) but that doesn’t faze you, after all, your keeping fit and healthy.

What you can expect with this role
You’ll be conducting meter readings, testing taps and assisting with the maintenance of meters.
You’ll be identifying water issues, reporting meter access issues and non-compliant water services, reviewing meter reports and assisting with customer queries.
Your day will also include a lot of walking (walking over 10km per day) so you need to be physically fit, comfortable working alone and you need to always put safety first.
Travel to regional towns and areas with generous allowances.
Your skills and experience
If your local to the Moora area, hold a WA Driving Licence (Class C), a strong awareness of safety, you must be able to walk over 10km a day and you must be comfortable working alone. If this sounds like a great job to you, try your hand (and feet) as a meter reader.
