About the role

Based in Leederville, we are seeking a motivated, influential and knowledgeable Stakeholders and External Policy Senior Advisor to join our team

In this role you’ll be responsible for providing advice, support and guidance on the development and implementation of effective stakeholder engagement and external policy activities, aligned to our corporate objectives and goals to achieve the Water Corporation vision.

What you can expect with this role

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication is undertaken with corporate stakeholders impacted by Water Corporation deliverables.
  • Support the ongoing implementation of the corporate stakeholder framework
  • Assist with the development and implementation of stakeholder engagement strategies and plans.
  • Track and monitor external activities related to Government policy – both State and Federal.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to research and develop policy positions on behalf of Water Corporation.
  • Support our leaders with their stakeholder engagement through policy research and scanning.

Your skills and experience

  • Degree qualification in Political Science, Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrated by an ability to consistently produce clear and compelling information.
  • Proven expertise in stakeholder engagement government policy
  • Experience developing and managing integrated stakeholder engagement strategies
